Connect 2017

At Holyrood's 2017 Connect annual conference, the integration of digital technologies in the reform of Scotland's public services served as the main theme of the day.  From hearing about digital transformation in local government and driving cultural shifts, to haring about lessons learned and good practice principles in ICT-enabled change, we were able to offer examples of digital reform from across Scotland and beyond.

We were delighted to welcome our keynote speakers from within Scotland and beyond, including:

  • Claudette Jones, Chief Information Officer, University of the West of Scotland (chair)
  • Colin Cook, Digital Director, Scottish Government
  • Claire Mack, Director of Policy and Place, SCDI (Scottish Council for Development of Industry)
  • Martyn Wallace, Chief Digital Officer,  Scottish Local Government Digital Office
  • Jonathan Cameron, Head of Service - Strategic Development Publich Health and Intelligence, NHS National Health Servises Scotland
  • Gemma Diamond, Senior Audit Manager, Audit Scotland
