Our full agenda will be published in the coming days. The conference will have three core themes:
Scotland’s public sector has come on leaps and bounds in recent years when it comes to digital transformation. Yet many public sector organisations can feel like they are starting from scratch when it comes to implementing transformation, unaware that other organisations have previously tackled the same issue and overcome the same challenges. So how can Scotland engender a better method of collaboration and shared learning to avoid duplication of efforts and resources and meet the diverse needs of Scotland’s public sector?
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced public sector organisations to adapt their use of technology in order to continue the delivery of public sector services. How can organisations capture the lessons learnt throughout 2020 and develop a digital transformation strategy that puts resilience at its heart?
Digital transformation is not for the faint hearted. Success requires a deep level of commitment and willingness to accept failure when it happens and change approach along the way. This obviously poses a risk for the public sector given the scrutiny it faces. So how can organisations create an environment where risks can be taken in a measured way and that is capable of unlocking the benefits of innovation?
