About the event
Scotland’s public sector has been on a journey towards digital transformation, as outlined in the current Digital Strategy published in 2011.
In the period since, the nature of digital has evolved greatly.
A recent report by SCDI, ScotlandIS, The Royal Society of Edinburgh and BT Scotland called for an acceleration of the pace of change and digital to be made priority in public service reform.
With the Scottish Government having consulted on a refreshed strategy, due to be published imminently, what progress has been made and what needs to meet the opportunities and harness the potential of digital for work, society, and the Scottish economy?
Holyrood’s 6th Annual Connect Conference will bring together ICT professionals from across the public sector and beyond to examine how to drive forward integration of digital technologies in the reform of public services.
The Connect Awards
This agenda setting conference will again be accompanied by The Connect Awards. The Connect Awards has established itself as an unmissable celebration of innovation, leadership and success across Scotland’s public sector; recognising organisations and individuals who have been fundamental to the progression of Scotland’s digital ambitions. With an expanded award category program for this year, the opportunities for your organisation to have their achievements recognised is better than ever!
